VITAMIN C PERFORMS MANY VITAL TASKS IN THE HUMAN BODY
Unlike many plants and animals, humans cannot produce vitamin C themselves, as the body cannot store vitamin C, so you must get enough vitamin C from your diet every day.
Vitamin C performs many vital functions in the human body. Most people know vitamin C as an antioxidant, whose job is to bind harmful free radicals. These free radicals are the cause of many diseases, such as neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Vitamin C is essential for the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C also plays a role in many metabolic processes, in the production of hormones, and in the formation of connective tissue.
IN THE FORM OF AN INFUSION, VITAMIN C IS USEFUL IN THE TREATMENT OF MANY DISEASES
Vitamin C infusions are used in holistic medicine to treat the following:
-
Cancer,
-
Allergies,
-
Cardiovascular diseases,
-
Autoimmune diseases,
-
Fatigue,
-
Among other things, lack of vitality and infections.
Vitamin C is not only used for its antioxidant effect
A vitamin C infusion can reduce the production of cytokines that trigger inflammation such as rheumatism.
For cancer patients, high-dose vitamin C infusions improve quality of life by reducing fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation also experience fewer side effects from vitamin C infusions.
In allergies such as hay fever and asthma, a vitamin C infusion accelerates the breakdown of histamine. Vitamin C also prevents the release of histamine.
In cases of lipid metabolism disorders, vitamin C infusion has been observed to lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.

Muscles need oxygen. And this applies to both skeletal muscles and heart muscle.
When the body has sufficient iron ions, it can produce plenty of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that transports oxygen in the blood. Iron is also a component of myoglobin, the protein responsible for intramuscular oxygen transport.
Iron deficiency leads to insufficient functioning of the mitochondria (cell batteries). It's no wonder that one of the first symptoms of iron deficiency is fatigue. Iron deficiency can also be accompanied by heart palpitations.
In patients with cardiovascular disease, optimizing iron status leads to improved cardiac function. Patients with heart failure, in particular, benefit from iron therapy; in these patients, the target ferritin level is above 100 ng/ml.
Measuring iron status is useful for young women who experience monthly iron losses, for older people—women or men—who have either an inadequate diet or poor intestinal absorption, and also for pregnant women, who have a "double" need for iron for themselves and their babies. Vegans may also be associated with iron deficiency.
Ferritin levels >60 ng/ml are ideal for women, and >120 ng/ml for men. Lower values, even if within the laboratory's reference limits, are insufficient and should be corrected.
In cases of very low ferritin levels or when oral iron is not well tolerated, it is recommended to compensate for the deficiencies by intravenous iron administration, which is simple and risk-free.
