Active ingredient

• PRX-T33 is a skin biorevitalization treatment without injections or needles. It could also be called a peeling, but the unique combination of 33% TCA with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) eliminates the need for exfoliation. The aggressiveness of the TCA is modulated by the H2O2. This means there is no downtime or rehabilitation time. Furthermore, PRX-T33 does not cause photosensitization! This makes it ideal for summer use.

• Synergy of TCA and H2O2:

• H2O2 alone is unable to penetrate the skin. While the TCA helps transport the H2O2 into the skin, the hydrogen peroxide reduces the aggressiveness of the trichloroacetic acid as it passes through the upper layers of the skin. This prevents peeling. Both substances therefore complement each other in their effects and can be described as synergistic.

 

How does PRX-T33 work?

• H2O2 has different properties depending on its concentration. At high concentrations, it slows down healing processes, while at low concentrations, it can accelerate regeneration processes. PRX-T33 has the latter. The low concentration of H2O2 enables improved tissue regeneration.

 

Other effects of H2O2 in low concentrations are:

• Stimulation of the action of FGF

• Controls the inflammatory process initiated by TCA

• Helps in the remodeling of the extracellular matrix through controlled apoptosis
