Sculptra

Sculptra treatment is a biostimulation procedure used in aesthetic medicine. Unlike traditional fillers, which immediately create volume, Sculptra activates the body's own processes to counteract skin aging.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is a biostimulant based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a fully biocompatible and biodegradable active ingredient. PLLA has been used in medicine for decades, for example in surgical sutures or implants, and also stimulates collagen production.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, which are used for wrinkle injections and create immediate volume, Sculptra works deep within the tissue. It stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, thereby strengthening the skin structure from within. Consultation & Analysis: Individual facial analysis, photo documentation and determination of the treatment strategy.
Injection: Sculptra is injected into the deep layers of the skin using fine cannulas or needles. This technique requires experience and expertise, which is why it is performed by specialists at Perfect Esthetics.
Massage & Aftercare: After each session, the treated area is massaged for 5 minutes. At home, the patient should massage the area five times a day for five minutes for five days (5-5-5 rule) to ensure even distribution.

Repeat sessions: Depending on the initial situation, 2–3 sessions at intervals of 4–6 weeks are recommended.

What should be considered after the treatment?

Proper aftercare leads to an optimized result:

Cooling: Slight swelling and redness may occur immediately after treatment; cooling can help with this.
Massage: The 5-5-5 rule is crucial for the result.
Avoid sports, saunas, and UV radiation: For 24–48 hours, physical exertion, and especially stress on the skin, should be avoided. Do not use tanning beds and use sunscreen.
Make-up: Can be used again after 24 hours.

The skin is usually presentable immediately. Mild redness or bruising is rare and subsides within a few days.
