Wrinkle treatment botulinum
A consultation is usually held prior to treatment to determine which areas are to be treated. The treatment itself involves injecting the active ingredient botulinum toxin directly into the target muscles using very fine needles. The procedure is usually brief, taking only a few minutes. Botulinum toxin is the active ingredient in a medication. It is used in very small doses to temporarily relax the activity of specific muscles.
The effect isn't immediate and develops gradually over a few days. The full result is visible after about two weeks. Muscle relaxation makes the overlying skin appear smoother and more relaxed. The result is temporary and typically lasts three to six months before muscle activity slowly resumes.
